2. Orders & Confirmation

2.1 All orders must be placed through our approved channels (website, WhatsApp, phone, or in-person).

2.2 Orders are confirmed only after *full payment or agreed deposit* is received.

2.3 Order details (design, size, flavor, delivery date, inscription) must be clearly communicated at the time of order.

2.4 Changes to confirmed orders are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.

3. Pricing & Payments (Flutterwave‑Compliant)

3.1 All prices are quoted in *Nigerian Naira (₦)* unless otherwise stated.

3.2 Payments are processed securely via *Flutterwave* or other approved payment channels.

3.3 By making a payment, you authorize MJ Xclusive Bakers & Events Limited to charge the selected payment method for the total order value, including delivery and applicable charges.

3.4 MJ Xclusive Bakers *does not store card details. All payment data is handled directly by Flutterwave in compliance with **PCI‑DSS security standards*.

3.5 In cases of failed, reversed, or pending transactions, order confirmation will only occur after successful payment notification from Flutterwave.

3.6 Chargebacks or payment disputes initiated without prior communication may lead to order suspension until resolved.

4. Custom Cakes & Designs

4.1 Custom cakes are handcrafted; slight variations in color, decoration, and finish may occur.

4.2 Reference images are used as inspiration and not exact replicas.

4.3 Customer approval of design details implies acceptance of artistic interpretation.

5. Allergens & Dietary Information

5.1 Our products may contain *eggs, milk, nuts, gluten, soy, and other allergens*.

5.2 It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of ordering.

5.3 MJ Xclusive Bakers is not liable for allergic reactions if prior notice was not given.

6. Delivery & Pickup

6.1 Delivery fees vary based on location and will be communicated before confirmation.

6.2 Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

6.3 Risk transfers to the customer once the order is picked up or delivered successfully.

6.4 Customers must ensure someone is available to receive deliveries at the agreed time.

7. Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling (Flutterwave‑Compliant)

7.1 Cancellations must be requested at least *48–72 hours* before the agreed delivery or pickup time.

7.2 Custom cake orders are *non‑refundable* once production has commenced, in line with Flutterwave’s policy on customized goods.

7.3 Eligible refunds will be processed through the *original payment channel on Flutterwave*.

7.4 Refund processing timelines:

* Card & wallet payments: *5–10 working days* (subject to banks)
* Transfers: *up to 14 working days*

7.5 Delivery fees are *non‑refundable* once dispatch has occurred.

7.6 Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.

8. Complaints & Quality Assurance

8.1 Complaints must be reported within *24 hours* of delivery or pickup.

8.2 Photographic evidence may be required for assessment.

8.3 We do not accept responsibility for damage caused after delivery or improper storage.

9. Storage & Consumption

9.1 Cakes should be stored as advised (cool, dry place or refrigerated if necessary).

9.2 Cakes are best consumed within *24–72 hours* of delivery.

9.3 MJ Xclusive Bakers is not liable for quality issues arising from improper handling or delayed consumption.

10. Intellectual Property & Digital Transactions

10.1 All designs, images, logos, and content created by MJ Xclusive Bakers remain our intellectual property.

10.2 Customers grant MJ Xclusive Bakers permission to display completed orders for marketing and portfolio purposes unless expressly declined in writing.

10.3 Fraudulent transactions or misuse of payment platforms will be reported to Flutterwave and relevant authorities.

11. Force Majeure

MJ Xclusive Bakers shall not be held liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, strikes, or government restrictions.

12. Limitation of Liability (Payment & Platform Use)

12.1 MJ Xclusive Bakers’ liability is limited strictly to the value of the product paid for via Flutterwave or other approved channels.

12.2 We are not responsible for losses arising from:

* Incorrect payment details provided by the customer
* Payment delays caused by banks, networks, or third‑party processors
* Unauthorized access to customer accounts not attributable to our negligence

12.3 Any payment‑related disputes shall first be reported to MJ Xclusive Bakers for resolution before escalation to Flutterwave or financial institutions.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

MJ Xclusive Bakers reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our platforms.
